Does our product work for everyone?

Solskin tries our best to create products that work for all skin types. Our brand exists for everyone in our community, and we do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, features, and/or abilities. No matter what your identity, expressions, or abilities, Solskin insider is always beside you.

How long is the shelf life of Synbiotic Skin Barrier Moisture Serum?
    • All sealed, unopened products can be used for up to 36 months; unsealed, opened products can be used for up to 12 months. However, we recommend storing all products in a dry place, avoiding sunlight, and closing them tightly after each use. Please note that prolonged exposure to high temperatures, moisture, and/or sunlight or air can impact the formulation.
    • The perfect temperature to store skincare is your room temperature.
Is it normal to feel tingling when using the serums?

It depends on your skin’s sensitivity, and it would help if you observed the reaction on your skin. It can tingle when using a new product or ingredients such as AHA, L-Ascorbic, BHA, and glycolic acid. We recommend starting slowly and letting your skin adjust unless your skin gets red or swollen; please stop using the product and consult a dermatologist.

In addition, Synbiotic Skin Barrier Moisture serum contains encapsulated BHA, which is gentle to your skin and rarely causes the tingling effect, but if you apply it where you have acne or wound, it may cause some tingling. However, before using any product, we recommend you do a patch test and find out what your skin needs first to protect your skin and save your money!

Is Synbiotic Skin Barrier Moisture Serum (SSBMS) a moisturizer?

Synbiotic Skin Barrier Moisture Serum is a soothing serum with moisturizing benefits and ingredients that help lock moisture and reduce TEWL, as well as BHA, which allows you to reduce acne concerns. However, it’s up to you if you want to use it as a serum or a moisturizer, but if your skin is dehydrated, please feel free to add a layer of facial cream.

Can I use this product if I am allergic to lactic acid in terms of skin?

If you have skin problems such as wounds, you should not use lactic acid, but if you are lactose intolerant in terms of eatable, then you can use our product because the serum will not be absorbed in your body or the digestive process.

Can I use Synbiotic Skin Barrier Moisture Serum if I have acne?

Yes, definitely, because we have included Encapsulated Salicylic Acid (BHA) into the formulation to help with acne and gently exfoliate your dead skin.

Shipping, Delivery
and Returns

What if my package arrives damaged?

If your package was damaged during the delivery process or in transit, please notify us via email at solskininsider@gmail.com. With your purchased information and photos of the damaged box for the investigation process.

Where’s my package?

    • Once you have placed an order and completed the payment process, then you will receive an email with tracking information via email to make it easy to track your package.
    • After completing the purchasing process, you should receive the confirmation email, but if you are still waiting to receive an email within a few days. Then, please check the spam folder or contact us on social media or email via solskininsider@gmail.com.
    • If your package is missing, please contact us, and we will start a trace with the logistic partner. This process takes approximately 2-3 business days. 

When will my order ship?

All orders require 1-2 business days before shipping out. Please note, business days do not include weekends or holidays.

How long will my order take to arrive?

After you place your order, we will process and ship your package within 1-2 business days. After shipping, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking number at the specified email address that you mentioned in the checkout process.

Please note that order processing time may vary due to vacations, new product launches, restocks, and promotions, but worldwide shipping will take 5-7 business days, depending on the logistics partner process. In addition, the estimated transit time is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Once I place my order, can I change the delivery address?

Don’t hesitate to contact us via solskininsider@gmail.com if you notice that you have made an error on the shipping address and want to make any changes. 

We will make every effort to ensure the correct delivery, but please note that once we deliver the product to the delivery courier, we cannot change the address, so please get in touch with us as soon as you notice the error.

We are shipping internationally including Thailand, Asia, the United States, and Europe.

Ordering process

Can I cancel my order?

To avoid delays in shipping your order, we process orders as quickly as possible. Therefore, we can only guarantee cancellations 15 minutes from when the order was placed. To request a cancellation, please email us via solskininsider@gmail.com as soon as possible and include the following:

In the subject line, put “Cancellation” and include your order number which was shown in the previous email.

Unfortunately, if your cancellation request comes in after our 15-minute grace period, we will not be able to cancel the order immediately, but we need to check your package status and let you know as soon as possible because our order procedure is to process after 15 minutes of your purchase to prevent delay.

How can I review my order history?

Can I change or cancel my order once it have been placed?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Internet Banking, Prompt Pay, TrueMoney Wallet, Rabbit Line Pay, Alipay, and Bill payment. Currently, we only accept one form of payment on a single order.

Can I apply more than one promo code at a time?
    • Promotion codes are limited to one code per order. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with other promotion codes. All promotion codes are available for a limited time and cannot be used once expired. Promotions are not redeemable for cash.

    • If you are having an issue with a promo code, please be sure your order meets all qualifications for the promo code or that the code is still valid. If you are still having issues, please contact customer service via solskininsider@gmail.com
Do you have discounts or promo codes that I can use for my order?

Yes, but please follow our social media accounts and sign up with us to receive a promo code for the special events. If you already have a promo code or discount, then you can put it in when you place an order on the website.

Where can I purchase?

Currently, our products are available online via the brand’s channels or official social media accounts and websites so that you can purchase through those channels. We do not recommend purchasing outside the official brand account, as we do not guarantee the quality and will not take responsibility for it.

The product I want is out of stock, will it be available again?

We encourage you to follow our social media accounts so you will get all updates about products, promotions, exclusive deals, and news. Moreover, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, whether it is about the products or skincare routine. How do I create an account?

How do I apply the products?

Generally, we recommend applying cleansers first and then applying treatment products (like serums and moisturizers, etc.). In addition, we recommend using sunscreen during the daytime after putting on treatments!

Always follow the instructions for each product and perform a patch test before applying new products. Always use skincare products based on the intensity or texture of the product that matches your skin concern.

Does Solskin product contains perfume or fragrance?

No, we do not use perfume or fragrance in the formulation.

Is it safe to use your products while I'm pregnant / nursing?

Based on the study and research, yes, pregnant and nursing people can safely use products containing salicylic acid once or twice daily during pregnancy and nursing. However, doctors recommend using products containing 2% or less salicylic acid. Moreover, the Thai FDA standard mentioned that skincare products should not have more than 2% Salicylic acid, so our skincare is safe and not harmful to babies based on research.

Are your products non-comedogenic?

All of our products have been clinically tested and no one has experienced irritation or breakouts when using Solskin products alone.

Are all products Vegan?

Our product uses an active ingredient that is vegan-certified.

Are all products gluten-free?

Our product is gluten-free without any gluten ingredients.

Are your products all-natural/organics?

Not all our products are organic, but some of the active ingredients are extracted from nature safely and effectively. If the ingredients are suitable and match your skin, either organics or synthetic will always work, but first, know your skin concerns and type.

Were products tested on animals?

No, we do not test our products on animals. We are cruelty-free.

How to perform a patch test?

When trying a new product, we recommend testing it before applying skincare by applying a small amount on clean and dry skin (on your wrist or neck). And leave the patch undisturbed for 24 hours.

Suppose you don’t have a skin reaction! We recommend incorporating it slowly into your skincare routine and continuing to monitor your skin’s response.

However, before launching the product, we had already done a clinical trial with up to 70 people to test if the product creates irritation or not. The results conclude that our products are safe for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Are products safe for sensitive skin and/or medical skin condition?

All of our products are safe and effective for sensitive skin. If you have a medical-specific skin condition like eczema or rosacea, we recommend you consult a dermatologist or healthcare provider before using any new products.

Are products safe for all age?

We recommend to people aged over three years old, and we recommend patch testing before applying on children’s skin.

Does the product have expiration date?

All of our skincare items have a shelf life of 2-3 years, but we recommend using them within 1 year after opening. This information is a guideline to get the most efficiency out of the products.

Sustainability & Inclusivity

Why don’t you use glass packaging?

Glass packaging is a great option for a lot of companies, but right now, it’s not the most sustainable option for us. When we conducted a lifecycle analysis of our products, we found that transportation contributes the most to our environmental footprint.

Unfortunately, glass packaging could increase our transportation’s waste output, so we’ve decided against using it right now. We’re always looking for more sustainable options and ways to cut down our footprint in packaging and beyond.

Is your packaging recyclable?

At this time, our main concern is to protect the product formulations. However, when the option becomes available, we will be the first to try them on! Meanwhile, the current packaging can still be repurposed or divided and returned to the recycling center.

International

Are you available in any physical store or other countries?

Currently, Solskin is available online and at the Castle C store in Bangkok, but we are more than welcome if you have any suggested locations that match our brand. However, we ship internationally, so you can enjoy and experience our product wherever you are.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do, but the shipping fee will be varied depending on the destination.
